HVAC Job Opportunities
When considering a career in HVAC, it is important to gain the type of education that will start you working in the industry and quickly as possible. And you need to be armed with the level of trade knowledge to meet your employer’s needs.
The Texas Career Center HVAC program teaches students how to maintain, service and repair HVAC equipment with confidence; and in a reasonable amount of time. Our training models are designed by HVAC professionals who are active in the service field every day; and who have decades of successful experience and expertise to share with you: the student. Our program offers an additional one-day EPA Certification Preparation seminar for those who do not already possess this certification.
Our HVAC Service Training Program students will learn about thermodynamics, electrical, mechanical, physics, chemistry, piping, and more. With the advances of electrical controls as well as the changes in refrigerants, the HVAC field is becoming more challenging and requires a higher level of skill and technical training. Upon completion of the HVAC program, students will have the opportunity to attend an EPA Certification Preparation seminar and exam. Students who already have their EPA certification are not required to attend this seminar. The EPA Certification Preparation seminar and exam is also available for individual purchase by anyone who handles or purchases refrigerants. Check our Events Registration page for schedules and dates of the EPA Certification Preparation seminar and exam.
Texas Career Center instructors are currently active in the HVAC field; their knowledge is up to date with new changes, equipment, controls and refrigerants as they are introduced into the industry.
